Description
Commanding and calm. This lion-head wall fountain turns backflow incense into a silky “waterfall” that spills from the lion’s mouth into a scalloped basin—instant mood for a desk, studio, or altar.
Why you’ll like it
-
Dramatic smoke effect – Internal draft path pulls the heavier-than-air backflow smoke downward so it pours like water.
-
Crisp baroque detail – Deep curls in the mane and scrollwork frame take dry-brushing and washes beautifully.
-
Giftable décor – Gothic/dark-academia vibe that fits offices, meditation corners, and bookshelf displays.
For the incense burner, We recommend place a larger washer (included in your order) in the top bowl. The washer must have a hole and some distance to the bottom so that the incense burner can release the smoke downwards into the bowl.
How to use (for the best “waterfall”)
-
Place a ceramic spacer/washer (approx. 6.5×24×9 mm or similar) with a center hole in the top bowl.
-
Set a backflow cone on the spacer so the cone’s underside hole aligns with the airway.
-
Light the cone; after the tip glows, blow out the flame.
-
Keep the burner in still air (no fans/AC drafts). Within ~30–60 sec, smoke will pour down the spout into the basin.
-
After use, tap out ash; wipe residue with isopropyl alcohol on a soft cloth.
Safety & care (no nonsense)
-
For backflow cones only. Do not use charcoal, sticks, or oils in this print.
-
Always place on a heat-safe, level surface and never leave burning incense unattended.
-
Keep away from children, pets, curtains, and drafts.
