Backstory:

Thundar Northwolf was born under the harsh northern winds of the Winterclaw Mountains, where survival is a daily struggle against the elements and predators that stalk the frozen wastes. He was named “Northwolf” after a legendary wolf that was said to have fought beside his ancestors in ancient times, a creature of the wild who understood the delicate balance between predator and prey.

From a young age, Thundar showed an affinity for the wilds, mastering the art of the hunt and learning to live off the land. His people were nomadic, moving with the herds and weather, but always returning to the sacred Wolfstone where their ancestors were buried. The Wolfstone was a place of great power, where Thundar first felt the call of his primal spirit, the totem of the wolf.

When Thundar was 16, a rival clan ambushed his people during the winter solstice, hoping to claim the Wolfstone for themselves. In the midst of the battle, Thundar entered his first rage, a primal fury that turned the tide of the fight. He single-handedly slew the rival chieftain, earning his place as a warrior among his clan and marking the beginning of his journey as a barbarian.

But the battle was not without cost. His family was killed, and his tribe scattered to the winds. With nothing left to hold him to his homeland, Thundar took up the life of a wandering warrior. Guided by the spirit of the wolf, he now travels the world, seeking to hone his skills, protect the weak, and exact vengeance on those who would prey on the defenseless.

Thundar’s journeys have taken him far from the frozen tundra of his birth, but the Northwolf still rages within him, a feral force that cannot be tamed. He fights not only for survival but to honor the memory of his fallen clan, each victory a step toward reclaiming the lost honor of his people.

In battle, Thundar is a whirlwind of steel and fury, his greatsword cleaving through foes with unrelenting strength. But beneath the savage exterior lies a deep respect for the natural world and a loyalty to those he calls friends. Thundar Northwolf is more than a warrior; he is a protector, a force of nature, and a living testament to the spirit of the wolf that guides him.
