Description
Trevor Astorio was born into a family of blacksmiths and was content on following in his father’s footsteps, as his father did to his father and his father did before him. However, at the age of 10, Trevor met a wandering dwarf who asked him for water and he gave him a wineskin full of water and a piece of bread of his own making. The dwarf never forgot Trevor’s kindness and from that moment on, he returned yearly to check the child that had so little and yet was willing to share it with a stranger. The dwarf watched Trevor grow a bit taller and a bit stronger every time and once a year, during almost thirty years, the human would take a break from work and catch up with his dwarven visitor.
On the dwarf’s last visit, he found – the now full grown – man Trevor aching over the passing of his wife and child. The dwarf then asked Trevor to join him on his pilgrimage and as he had nothing left to lose, he accepted. Together, human and dwarf forged a sword carved with gems from the long lost mines of the Thunderforge clan, and the friends Trevor and Boradin travel side by side since then.
Product Disclaimer
Material and Finish:
All miniatures are crafted from high-quality, durable gray resin unless specified otherwise. Depending on resin availability, miniatures may be produced with either water-washable or standard resin, which could result in slight color variations across pieces. Each model arrives unprimed and unassembled, ready for priming and painting, or for those who appreciate collecting unpainted models. Minor assembly may be required, as parts may need gap-filling, light sanding, or other minor finishing touches. Every effort is made to fully cure each piece; however, if any residual wet resin is found upon arrival, a brief rinse in isopropyl alcohol and exposure to direct sunlight or UV light will complete the curing process.
Scale and Sizing:
Miniatures are provided in 32mm scale to maintain a realistic proportion across various character sizes. This scale indicates proportion, not exact measurements; for example, a 32mm-scale miniature of a human will differ significantly in size from a 32mm-scale fire giant. For custom sizing inquiries, please feel free to reach out directly.
Pricing:
Prices are set based on the size, print duration, and complexity of support removal. Models with intricate detailing or extensive supports may require additional handling, reflected in the final price.
Support and Finish:
Support structures are carefully selected to ensure optimal print quality while protecting delicate details. Due to the nature of resin printing, minor imperfections such as pitting, small chips, or subtle scratches may occur during support removal. Some miniatures may require light sanding or touch-ups for any residual support marks. In select cases, certain supports may be left attached to protect fragile elements during shipping.
Shipping and Handling:
Each miniature is packaged with care to ensure safe transit, though occasional issues during shipping, such as minor warping or breakage, may occur. If minor warping happens, please submerge the affected area in warm water until malleable, then adjust to the desired position and allow it to cool. Alternatively, gentle heating with a hair dryer can achieve the same effect. For any breakages, components can be easily reattached using standard miniature glue. Please inform us of any transit issues to help us continuously improve our packaging methods.
