3D prints can feature intricate details. We package all orders using protective materials (such as bubble wrap, foam, or sturdy boxing) to ensure maximum protection during transit.

### 5. Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Packages

* **Damaged in Transit:** If your 3D print arrives broken or damaged, please contact us within **48 hours** of delivery at **[email protected]**. Please include your order number and clear photos of both the damaged packaging and the broken print so we can process a replacement or solution promptly.
* **Lost Packages:** If your tracking indicates that your package was delivered but you have not received it, or if it is stuck in transit, please contact us so we can assist in opening a claim with the carrier.

# Refund & Return Policy

At **Unchained 3D**, we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. Because 3D-printed products are made to order and often customized, our refund and return policy is outlined below.

### 1. Custom and Made-to-Order Items

Due to the personalized nature of custom 3D prints, **all sales of custom or personalized items are final**. We do not accept returns or offer refunds for custom orders unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

### 2. Damaged or Defective Items

We take great care in packaging our prints, but 3D-printed items can sometimes be delicate. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or with a major manufacturing flaw:

* Please notify us within **48 hours** of package delivery.
* Send an email to **[email protected]** with your order number and clear photos of the damaged item and original packaging.
* Upon verification, we will happily send a free replacement or issue a full refund for the affected item.

### 3. Standard Non-Custom Returns

For standard, non-customized inventory items:

* **Return Window:** You may request a return within **14 days** of receiving your package.
* **Condition:** Items must be returned in their original, unused condition with all original packaging.
* **Return Shipping:** The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our end or a defective product.
* **Restocking Fee:** A standard **10–15% restocking fee** may apply to cover initial handling costs.

### 4. Exceptions & Minor 3D Printing Artifacts

3D printing is an additive manufacturing process. Minor cosmetic variations, visible layer lines, or small surface artifacts are inherent to the process and are not considered manufacturing defects.

### 5. Non-Refundable Items & Circumstances

* Gift cards or digital STL files/downloads.
* Items damaged due to improper handling, dropping, extreme heat exposure (e.g., leaving PLA prints in a hot vehicle), or misuse.
* Orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer at checkout.

### 6. Processing Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status. Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within **5 to 7 business days**.
